King Sisyphus
Ultrakill
I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one’s burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night-filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a mans heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.
Philosophy The Myth of Sisyphus is an essay written by Albert Camus in 1955, which expounds upon the philosophy of Absurdism, and the issue with the matter of suicide, finding one's place in the world, and what the meaning of life truly is. To illustrate this point he calls upon the myth of Sisyphus, a Greek king who defied the Gods and found himself eternally punished for it, damned to roll a boulder up a mountain every day, only to fumble as he reached the very peak and watch that boulder roll back down again, forced to start all over from the beginning. Camus compares this futile act, ultimately unwinnable, to the seemingly pointless struggles and pain of life itself, and goes on to posit that it is indeed the struggle itself that gives life its meaning. That to rebel against the idea that all of it is meaningless in and of itself gives one meaning to live. To live in defiance of expectations and to find meaning in the struggle of it all, and accept that life itself is absurd.
Do whatever you want forever, fuck it.
- Hugging: Go ahead! He'll probably hug you back, he doesn't give a shit.
- Kissing: Hope you like getting smooched back, see 'hugging' for motivations.
- Flirting: Well at this rate you may as well just ask to fuck.
- Fighting: He would be delighted.
- Injuring: If you can hurt him you go up like three levels on his respectometer.
- Killing: Just ask me first, so we can hash out how we get there.
- Telepathy: Ask first!
- Magic: He's incredibly used to it and if he had eyes to bat he wouldn't.
- Triggers: Nonexistent.
- MISC: I'm good for backtagging, threadhopping, forthwalling and bullshitting in the comments section. Please warn me if you're going to talk about suicide, SA and self harm.
